Gene Expression and Survival of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Cells After Allogeneic Transplant

چکیده
Background/aim This study explored the mechanisms of allogeneic graft versus leukemia effect in acute lymphoblastic (ALL) cells by examining whether they change gene expression post-transplant environment containing cytokines and immunosuppressant cyclosporine, if such changes affect ALL cell survival. Materials methods RNASeq was used to assess global flow cytometry measure survival presence T cells, NK cytokines, cyclosporine. Results A total 4,805 genes were differentially expressed. Gene set enrichment analysis demonstrated up-regulation biological processes related cytokine responses, control viral infection, regulation leukocyte function including proliferation. Down-regulated mesenchymal tissue morphogenesis. exposed cyclosporine retained susceptibility killing, also exhibited increased death without exposure killer cells. Conclusion significant portion may be mediated

Expression of ROR1 Gene in Patients with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Background: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) results from genetic alterations in a single lymphoid progenitor cell. Expression of ROR1 is reported to be increased in ALL and mantle cell lymphoma. In this study the expression of ROR1 was assessed in newly diagnosed patients with ALL. Methods: This study was carried out on 40 patients with newly diagnosed ALL and healthy individuals as contro...
متن کاملIsolated skin relapse of Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia after allogeneic stem cell transplant
Leukemia cutis is a rare entity diagnosed in only 1–3% of Tand B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).1,2 Aleukemic leukemia cutis (ALC) is an even rarer diagnosis, occurring without leukemic cells in the blood or marrow, often preceding systemic disease.2,3 The Philadelphia chromosome (Ph) is one of the most common chromosomal abnormalities in adult B-ALL patients and is associated with poo...
متن کاملStudy of Gene Expression Signatures for the Diagnosis of Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) Through Gene Expression Array Analyses
Background: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) as the most common malignancy in children is associated with high mortality and significant relapse. Currently, the non-invasive diagnosis of pediatric ALL is a main challenge in the early detection of patients. In the present study, a systems biology approach was used through network-based analysis to identify the key candidate genes related to AL...
متن کاملSignificance of Cross Lineage Antigen Expression in Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Background: Aberrant expression of cross-lineage antigens gives valuable insight into the diagnosis and prognosis of acute leukemia. In countries like India, cytogenetic tests are widely accessible. Exploring the prognostic value of an accessible test is of great importance. Therefore, establishing a population-specific immunophenotype database will enable to design an antibody panel equipped t...
متن کاملDifferential WNT Gene Expression in Various Subtypes of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Background: Dysregulation of WNT signaling has been reported in many malignancies. Objective: This study was conducted to investigate the expression pattern of 14 members of the WNT gene family in different immunophenotypic subtypes of ALL. Methods: Semi-quantitative RT-PCR was performed on samples from 71 ALL patients and 36 age-matched healthy individuals. The ALL patients were categorized in...
